Yes, I'm fully aware that Yahoo doesn't like links and I've tried spacing them out. For instance: The Obama Files dotcom or the obama files dot com or any other creative way to reference your site. As a long time user of Yahoo, I have experienced censorship with other non Obama posts and it's not my imagination or paranoia at work. Also, just a heads up about a very new thing I've noticed lately: Just like Alan Vera said in the video promoting TTV, you might just go to the polls next election and be told that you already voted. On Yahoo, you can vote thumbs up or thumbs down for posts you like or don't like. I've noticed on several occasions lately that posts I don't agree with have already been given a thumbs up by me and I know I didn't inadvertantly do it. Is the left already practicing what they can get away with?

False alarm!

Yahoo just doesn't like links, and deletes every comment with a link.

It took a while to figure it out.

I have tried on several occasions to attach links to this site on "Topix" and the posts always wind up being deleted within a few minutes.

Not the same

There is a difference between being banned for "negative" comments or violating a website's terms of service, and censoring comments because they reference a website.

It's not even apples and oranges.

I posted a comment on this Yahoo page, "Obama: 'I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth'," from a website that should be very threatening to Yahoo and Team Obama -- the TEA Party Patriots.

It's still there -- check it out.

It is clear that I can post to Yahoo.  Yahoo is not censoring my personal comments.  They are censoring comments that link to The Obama File.

Go to Yahoo and post a comment referencing TheObamaFile.com yourself -- see what happens!

This is completely different than being banned for violating the terms of service.

The folowing is a false alarm.  Yahoo just doesn't like links, and deletes every comment with a link.  It took a while to figure it out.

One of the members sent me an email this AM, informing me that Yahoo was censoring comments that referenced The Obama File.

I figured there must have been some kind of a glitch -- after all why would giant Yahoo be censoring the website of a 72-year old news aggregator?

There's nothing in The Obama File that shouldn't be available via their own search engine.

So, I thought I'd check it out.

I visited this Yahoo page, "Obama Eats Dog Story Sends Campaign 2012 into Surreal Territory," with the intention of posting a comment that linked to the forum, which I did successfully -- note the comments count is 225 and the timestamp, "a second ago."

But, when I reloaded the page -- voila!  My comment is gone! -- and the comments count is now back to 224, "John's comment" is still there, and the timestamp has been updated, showing 5 minutes has elapsed.

OK!  So I tried one more.

I visited the Yahoo page, "Obama Birth Certificate and Selective Service Card Faked, Joe Arpaio Concludes," with the intention of posting a comment that linked to the archive.

Again, I successfully posted my comment, assigned number 404 and timestamped, "a second ago"  . . . . .

When I reloaded the page, my comment had disappeared and the comment count had been decremented to 404, while "Susan's comment" remains in place.

Yup!  Big, rich Yahoo is indeed censoring The Obama File, and it appears, because of the quickness of the delete, that it is being done under software control (automatically).

Now, the question is:

Did Yahoo choose to censor The Obama File on its own, or are they responding to orders from Team Obama?

As a special favor, I hope the members post the title and link to this page all over the Internet.

People need to know how corrupt those associated with Barack Obama are.
