If this is an example of Trump's appointments, we're in good shape

pic353.jpg

Michael T. Flynn is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who served as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and chair of the Military Intelligence Board from July 24, 2012, to August 2, 2014.

Prior to that, he served as Assistant Director of National Intelligence. He consistently pushed for greater information and intelligence sharing and was a leading figure in coalition and special operations intelligence operations. Flynn co-authored a report in January 2010 through the Center for a New American Security entitled Fixing Intel: A Blueprint for Making Intelligence Relevant in Afghanistan, that criticized the intelligence community for lacking an understanding of the human-socio context of the battlefield in Afghanistan.

Flynn's military career was primarily operational, with numerous combat arms, conventional and special operations senior intelligence assignments. He also served as the senior intelligence officer for the Joint Special Operations Command, where he was credited with creating innovative techniques for interrogation operations and operations-intelligence fusion, leading to major breakthroughs in counterterrorism operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere against Al-Qaeda and its associated movements. Flynn is a published author, with articles appearing in Small Wars Journal, Military Review, Joint Forces Quarterly, the Center for a New American Security, and other military and intelligence publications.

In May 2016 he emerged as one of several leading possibilities to be the vice presidential running mate for Republican nominee Donald Trump. Flynn was not chosen as Trump's running mate -- the vice presidential pick was ultimately Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

At the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, Flynn delivered what the New York Times called a "fiery speech", addressing US leadership and American exceptionalism.

The Trump effect

pic351.jpg

There’s no hard evidence to show that Ford is moving truck production from Mexico to Ohio because of Trump as he hasn’t even been sworn in yet, but it’s awfully coincidental, isn’t it?

CNN Money is reporting that Ford's heavy duty pickup trucks which used to be built in Mexico started rolling off an assembly line in Ohio this week.

That's good news for the 1,000 Ford workers in Ohio, who might have otherwise been out of work.

It's also good publicity for Ford (F), which has been under fire for investing so much in Mexico. In April, the automaker said it would invest $2.5 billion in transmission plants in the Mexican states of Chihuahua and Guanajuato, creating about 3,800 jobs there.

Ford's south-of-the-border strategy has drawn heavy criticism from groups such as the United Auto Workers union and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The Avon Lake, Ohio, plant produced its first batch of Ford's full-size F-650 and F-750 pick up trucks on Wednesday.

"Our investment...reinforces our commitment to building vehicles in America," said Joe Hinrichs, Ford president, The Americas. "Working with our partners in the UAW, we found a way to make the costs competitive enough to bring production of a whole new generation of work trucks to Ohio."

Hollywood icon proves Donald Trump’s election is good news for America

pic342.jpg

Onan Coca (Constitution.com) says Hollywood Icon James Woods made a name for himself as a brilliant actor on the stage and screen in popular plays and films in the 70’s and 80’s. Now Woods lives a leisurely life picking up work when he wants to and mocking silly leftists almost daily on his Twitter feed.

In recent years Woods has become an agitator for conservative change and a well-spoken advocate for the right. A couple of days after Donald Trump’s election, Woods tweeted what could be the most important explanation of why we should all be excited about Donald Trump’s victory.

pic341.jpg

Donald Trump’s election is a big deal, folks, and the rest of the world was watching. They understand that the American people spoke up on November 8th, and they’re ready to listen to what we have to say. Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has shifted the conversation from America’s passive place in this world to one where we are once again leading the conversation. Not our leaders, but we, the American people. We are telling Russia, Syria, Mexico, Canada, and the rest of the world that we have something to say.

That’s a big deal.

Ref:  Post #2.  Well said Shamrock!  Beckwith is a true America patriot who never gives up.  I have never met him in person but I consider him a close friend.   So many Americans will never know the contributions he has made for them.  In my small little world of my email group I am considered the “Go To” guy when they have questions about our nation’s history and politics.  I always tell them my main source of accurate information is from ‘theobamafile’.

Team Obama is already attempting to undermine Donald Trump

pic329.jpg

S. Noble (IndependentSentinel) is reporting that Barack Obama met with President-elect Donald Trump Friday at the White House, and Obama is already leaking negative reports. Obama stood up at a presser today and while lapdog reporters fed him questions denigrating Trump, he played the professional passing the baton.

He's a snake.

Obama aides reported that Trump "seemed surprised at the scope" of responsibilities of the president, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Yahoo news posted the following with the insulting photo along with a slew of other nasty articles:

pic328.jpg

The Journal indicated that Trump was unaware that all of the staff at the White House would need to be replaced, but the fact that Trump staff created a website to fill over 4,000 jobs Friday means the Trump transition team knew a large number of posts would need to be filled in a relatively short time, the Daily Caller reported.

"The difference between President-elect Trump and a politician is that Trump puts a premium on making the right decision, not the politically expedient one," a communications director for Trump told the Journal.

"President-elect Trump's excellent judgment and temperament has served him well in business and in life, and he's not going to be swayed by a bunch of political insiders responsible for filling up the swamp in the first place."

Obama also announced he would be holding sessions to train the incoming White House staff on how to carry out day-to-day business.

That should go well.

Just listen to the thinnest-skinned man ever to darken the door to the Oval Office:

Fox News Insider reported that billionaire George Soros and other big Democratic donors are meeting for three days in Washington, D.C. to discuss how to stop President-elect Donald Trump's agenda.

The reported closed-door meetings kicked off Sunday night at the upscale Mandarin Oriental hotel.

Politico reports that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Keith Ellison -- who is in the running to be the next DNC chair -- are among the key Democrats expected to attend.

The conference is sponsored by the Democracy Alliance donor club.

The riots continue, they are especially violent in Portland.

This is going to be a very tough four years. Trump is up against some very evil people who don't want to lose control.

Reince Priebus says "Obama should be executed" instead of "Osama" three times

I wonder what Freud would have to say about this?

Excellent choices by President - Elect Trump.

I spoke with Mr. Bannon for about 30 minutes at CPAC 2015 and was most impressed with him and am not surprised by his selection.

The obama Nightmare will, at last, End by noon 20th. January 2017.

My sincere thanks and admiration to Beckwith for his amazing contribution to the outcome of this Election.

I will personally make every effort to have his brave and tireless endeavors officially recognized and request all of you Obama File members to join me in this.

The Obama File will have fulfilled it's mission, only, when obama is called to answer for his crimes against America.

It occurs to me that the transition to the Trump administration is very much a part of the Age of Obama, since Obama's failures created Donald Trump.

Items related to the transition of power will be placed in this thread.

pic321.jpg

Fox News is reporting that President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday appointed Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus as his White House chief of staff.

Trump also announced that campaign CEO Steve Bannon, the executive chairman of Breitbart News, will be his chief strategist and senior counselor.

Trump said that Priebus and Bannon will work as "equal partners" -- as they did in the campaign -- to make the federal government "much more efficient, effective and productive."

"Steve and Reince are highly qualified leaders who worked well together on our campaign and led us to a historic victory," Trump said. "Now I will have them both with me in the White House as we work to make America great again."

The appointments suggest Trump appealing to traditional Republican circles and the party's anti-establishment wing, which helped fuel the businessman's political rise.

Bannon thanked Trump for the job, saying he and Priebus will extend their partnership in Washington to "help President-elect Trump achieve his agenda."

Priebus said Trump will be a "great president for all Americans" and expressed his gratitude for the being able to serve the president elect and the rest of the country in helping "create an economy that works for everyone, secure our borders, repeal and replace ObamaCare and destroy radical Islamic terrorism."

Priebus was one of Trump's most loyal lieutenants during the real estate mogul's up-and-down campaign that resulted in many Republicans, particularly GOP candidates seeking reelection, distancing themselves from Trump.

In Trump's victory speech after his upset win over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, he notably praised Preibus' efforts and loyalty.

Neither Priebus nor Bannon bring significant policy experience to their new White House roles.

Bannon was notably given top billing in the press release announcing the appointments, a curious arrangement giving that White House chief of staff is typically considered the most powerful West Wing job.

Chiefs of staff in particular play a significant role in policy making, serving as a liaison to Cabinet agencies and deciding what information makes it to the president's desk. They're often one of the last people in the room with the president as major decisions are made.
